While Gov. Sarah Palin did not falter in the debate last night, her sentences seemed interminable.For 3 minutes, she would piece together prepositional phrases, subjunctive clauses, and compound sentences. And when you think it’s just about done, a new conjunction (“but” or “and”) keeps the sentence alive.
A transcription may reveal that Gov. Palin spoke the longest sentence in US VP debate history!
